Armament

Armament is the weapons used by naval vessels to engage enemy vessels such as aircraft, surface ships, and submarines. These range from turrets to Mine lobbers to anti-aircraft guns.

The Royal Canadian Navy armament has changed and evolved over time, and many examples of ships armament is exhibited at the Naval Museum of Alberta – making it the largest indoor collection of naval weapons systems in Canada.
